The problem
The new Board of the National Railway Infrastructure has decided to make some changes in the procedures of travelling. In order to reduce the cost of consumables, they to replace paper tickets to e-ticket. But how could it be possible when they have to deal with so many people?

The real problem is that they have to find a way to send mass emails as e-tickets while they contain personal data or trip’s details. In other case, travelers may do not own a smartphone, so they can be able to display the email while boarding.

So, the new Board decided to use Routee’s Transactional Email in combination with Viber and SMS. They are sending an email that includes a QR code. In case that a user prefers to receive an SMS or a Viber Message, Routee automatically sends it to one of these channels as a fallback.
This QR code is actually their ticket. So, passengers only have to scan the code before going on board. In this way, the travelers don’t have to go to the station a few days or hours before the trip to purchase their ticket or they don’t have to wait in long queues.
